FALL 2011-SPRING 2012 SESSION CLASSES

CONTACT DANCE offers ballroom dance group and private lessons in an extensive repetoire of smooth, latin and social dance styles. Most classes are for adults 18 and up- no partner required. We hope you find a lesson that fits your needs!

CLASS SCHEDULE
The following classes will operate for the FALL 2011-SPRING 2012 session, which runs August 15-December 9, 2011 and January 9-May 8, 2012. These classes are billed according to the Dancefx Monthly Tuition ($65 per month/ 1 hour per week, $95 per month/ 2 hours per week) and are part of the Dancefx Studio Program.

BALLROOM SAMPLER Learn a new dance each month! Perfect introduction to ballroom dance for beginners; a great chance to learn or review basics in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

LATIN SOCIAL DANCE: Basics and latest moves of today’s most popular Latin social dances. Salsa, Merengue, Bachata. After class, take your new moves to the dance floor in downtown Athens- Wednesday is Salsa night!

INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED BALLROOM: Technique, style, vocabulary and musicality to enhance your ballroom dance performance. Intermediate and Advanced Ballroom include all styles shown above as well as SAMBA, QUICKSTEP, and VIENNESE WALTZ! Prerequisite: Extensive knowledge of the basics of both smooth and rhythm styles required. Intermediate Ballroom: At least one year of Ballroom and Latin. Advanced Ballroom: At least two years of Ballroom and Latin.
